‘Map Music’ is made up of sounds on trains, in stations and the surrounding area of the Newcastle Metro system. These found sounds have been structured into a montage which coincides with a train route along the 'loop' part of the network. This loop starts from Monument and travels out to Whitley Bay via Longbenton and Four Lane Ends then returns via Tynemouth, Walker and Byker.

Track 3 contains a field recording by Ana Collado reading "The Canadian Challenge" made at Pelaw station on 20/02/03.
Track 5 contains a sample from Carol McGuigan's site specific sound art piece "ein stein drei" which played at Tynemouth station from 06/03/01.
