The first reissue for Andrew Ridgeley’s debut album ‘Son Of Albert’ that was originally released in 1990, four years after the break-up of Wham!.
This Special Expanded Edition includes the nine original album tracks from the vinyl release plus 7 related bonus tracks. This includes ‘Shake (Hardcore)’ that was featured on the CD version of the album.

Son Of Albert produced two singles:
o SHAKE – This collection includes four versions – the album, Hardcore, Accapella and Extended mixes.

o RED DRESS – Is featured three times on this CD, the album version, 12” and an additional Extended Mix included. This track features backing vocals by George Michael.

Other bonus material includes two mixes of the Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers penned Hangin’, the Extended and Alternative Extended Versions taken from various 12” releases of ‘Shake’.

This Special Expanded Edition has been remastered using the original production master tapes.

The 24 page full colour booklet features an expanded design of the original artwork, a recent interview with Andrew Ridgeley and Gary Bromham reflecting on the making of the album, album lyrics and a UK Discography.

50 signed copies were available exclusively at Cherry Red's own store whilst stock lasted.
