HUDDERSFIELD BOYS ADD SOME MALIBOOM-BOOM TO THEIR FUNKY DIP. Early in 2011, Huddersfield's Andy Jay & S-Tee secured a deal with Malibu Drinks Company. Their track 'Funky Dip' featuring Rubi Dan was aired worldwide on their popular TV commercial. After over 250,000 Youtube hits, countless plays on Radio 1 and a massive flash mob campaign in New York City, the UK Funky House purveyors finally release the hugely anticipated track on UK Garage's most prolific label, Ice Cream Records. They formed in the late 1990s through a mutual love of UK Garage, producing some of the pioneering tracks for the genre including '7 Wonders' and 'Crazy', selling over 27,000 copies. After noticing a growing UK Funky House scene in early 2007, they saw a gap in the market and started reinventing the style. All their tracks receive regular radio plays on BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM, Choice FM and BBC 1xtra, and the duo made 6 guest appearances on BBC 1xtra, as well as DJing all over the country. They want to show critics and UK Funky heads the scene that is evolving - and that they plan to remain at the forefront...
