In 2010 I Decided To Do Something Fully On My Own. The Result Of This Process Of Experimenting Over These Few Years Is 'Weerzien'.

'Weerzien' Is A Piece Of Music Which Is A Result Of Experimenting With Sounds Over A Period Of 4 Years. At First I Didn't Had The Intention Of Releasing My Own Music As A Solo Artist. But Slowly, Experimenting With Sound Became More And More Serious. In This Period I Worked With Guitar, Bow, Loop Pedal, Some Effects And A Laptop. Gradually The Music Started To Speak It's Own Language. I Didn't Know What Direction It Would Bring Me. Using The Violin Bow For Guitar I Found A Way Of Creating Drones And At The Same Time It Gave Me The Possibility To Give A More Personal Feel To The Piece. Using The Laptop I Started To Create More Layers And Textures. Slowly The Piece Evolved, And I Started To Get More Convinced About The Direction Of The Music. I Was More 'In Control' Over The Music Again. The Piece Found Slowly A Final Structure. 'Weerzien' Is About Finding Things Which Were Always There.
