This edition of the album differs from the first issue of Electro Glide In Blue by slight alterations on the back sleeve. (Most notably the different Epic logo and the reversed orientation of the writing on one side of the jewel-case.) Early copies come in a jewel-case with blue-transparent tray (and erroneously catalog number SSX2440CD in the small print on the disc), later copies come with a clear-tray and the correct print on disc.

There's 30 seconds of silence between "Stealth Mass In F#m" and "Raw Power", at the end of track 11.
