509th kilometre of Vistula river is located in Warsaw between two bridges, Siekierkowski and Łazienkowski. Here, both banks of the river are dense with trees and bushes. It's a magical place, regardless of season, be it night or day.
This album is based on field recordings of the electrical impulses of fungi, plants and their roots - converted to MIDI and replayed by virtual synths.
In this plant-based environment we can also hear the conversations of bats - translated to audible frequencies - as well as sounds of birds and insects.

509 kilometr Wisły znajduje się w Warszawie pomiędzy mostem Siekierkowskim i Łazienkowskim. W tym miejscu brzeg rzeki po obu stronach porastają krzewy i drzewa. 509 kilometr Wisły to miejsce magiczne o każdej porze roku, dnia i nocy.
Na albumie zarejestrowane są impulsy elektryczne grzybów, krzewów, roślin i ich korzeni, które - zapisane do postaci midi - wybrzmiewają na wirtualnych syntezatorach.
Z dźwiękowym otoczeniem roślin współgrają też przełożone na słyszalne częstotliwości rozmowy polujących nietoperzy, jak również głosy ptaków i owadów.
