Usually the reprinted gun can be distinguished for a different shape of the hammer, and white and not grey back.
Also note that according to the site, copies of the gun insert with the correct hammer shape can be found bearing the writing "Corpo DI reato" instead of "Corpo DEL reato", and it is not known which ones were produced first.
