Limited-to-one release issued in a painted, upcycled Insomnia Cookies box covered with wax, dryer lint, scraps of cloth, paint, etc.

Contains additional painted debris—as well as two audio cassettes, a recycled CD with lathe-cut audio, and a ten-track CDr with additional lathe-cut audio. The lathe cut on the CDr renders tracks 5-10 unplayable.

"The Echoes of Samagon"

In the remote village of Samagon, nestled high in the Himalayas, a tale unfolded that started as a promising date but spiraled into a chilling adventure.

Emma, an adventurous soul with a love for the unconventional, had met Alex on a dating app. They decided to embark on a unique journey together, exploring the sounds of ARMER's "Black & Gold" 2 c40 + CD/Lathe 5" + 5" Lathe + Inserts Box Set. Little did they know that their date would be a haunting experience that transcended the boundaries of the ordinary.

The duo reached Samagon in a Russian Mi17 UN helicopter, a thrilling entrance that promised a date unlike any other. As the helicopter soared through the Himalayan skies, breathtaking views painted a canvas of beauty and adventure.

Upon landing, however, the initial excitement turned into a sense of unease. The pilot's concerns about unpredictable weather began to manifest. The atmosphere in the village felt heavy, a foreshadowing of the eerie events about to unfold.

Undeterred, Emma and Alex were greeted by the villagers with warm smiles, seemingly oblivious to the undercurrent of tension. They were guided to a local lodge that would serve as their home and workplace for the next ten days. The lodge, a rustic haven in the heart of the mountains, seemed like the perfect backdrop for their date.
