“I visited Sanctuary 2017 where the Dark Outside broadcast for 24 hours. I made about 10 hours of field recording around the forest, picking up the broadcast as it often came in and out of frequency on my little transitor radio. Back home in Norfolk I spent the first few months of 2018 editing this source material into the tracks presented here. Each track incoporates a source sound recorded from the forest and fragments of captured audio from the broadcast. Thanks to the artist whose little excerpts of sound made it into these pieces. “
