“This mix was made from music that inspired me over the last year, mostly by artists that played at Mutual Dreaming or whose sets had a profound impact on me. Seeing legends Terrence Dixon, DJ Sprinkles and Function in particular left me with new sense of dance music as elemental geometry balanced between the extremes of human emotion: ecstatic & heavenly, or twisted & frightening. This mix explores that space between – it goes from dark and churning to sensual, soft and introspective, and the various moods along the way.”
