Although not mentioned and not credited, Wedding Bells is based upon the melody of an old Folksong called 'Der Fremdenlegionär (Gefangen in maurischer Wüste)', written in the 19th century by Mathieu Auguste Panseron. This same melody was also used for the songs 'In De Vreemde (Verlaten)' by the Migra's as released in 1976 on single In De Vreemde (Verlaten) and 'Kleine Schwalbe' by Mireille Mathieu as released in 1976 on single Kleine Schwalbe (Für Die Heimkehr Ist Es Nie Zu Spät).
