"Balkanhenning og hans Roekuleklappere" was founded in 2008 by residents at "Gislegaard Kostskole for Oversete Talenter" in Denmark, a special needs group home and adult learning facility renowned for its music therapy courses.To reach a larger audience, the band released their self-produced mp3-singles on various music websites, though very little ever came out of this. Instead, they used the sites to raise funds for this LP release, consisting of home and studio recordings.
