Artists

Album Info

Release Date: 2019

Label: Mark Records

This 30th Anniversary Collection is drawn from material recorded between 1989 and 1990 when residents of Allegany County NY came together to protest against nuclear waste dumps being sited in their community. Three cassettes were released as part of the "Bump the Dump" struggle: 1. the original, 18-song collection "Spread the Word!" collection was released in January 1990; 2. A 22-song collection "BANDITS Too" was released in July, 1990; 3. "How Many Valleys?" was released in 1994, and reflected the fact that the original "Bump The Dump!" campaign was successful and the residents were now concerned about incinerator ash repositories instead of nuclear waste.

Tracks 16-20 are live at Hobart, April 22, 1990.
