Note on the release page: "Beehatch is a band featuring Phil Western and Mark Spybey, from respectively, British Columbia, Canada and Northumberland in the U.K. They first worked together in the mid-nineties as members of Download. Their first self-titled debut was hailed as being “capable of surpassing all trends and musical phases,” and their second, Brood “a totally wonderful aural experience.” Most of the tracks for Oh Noh Me were built using ‘real’ instruments played by Western: bass guitar, and drums. Spybey then added words and the tracks developed into ‘composed’ songs. They are schooled by German music of the 70’s, the ‘experimental fringes’ of rock music and fuelled by a post punk DIY ethic that says, ‘anything goes.’ Oh Noh Me captures the essence of Brood and it manages the extremes of their self-titled debut. Featuring 11 tracks, it is released on vinyl and by digital download. The album is housed in a beautiful full colour gatefold sleeve designed by David Babbitt."
