The liner notes claim that this is a reissue of the earliest Beehive & The Barracudas recordings, produced by Derek McGee at Strange Sounds in Blight, Michigan (a fictitious location claimed as the band's hometown; Strange Sounds is actually in San Diego, California) for the (fictitious) Detroit label One-Tone Records, and that the label refused to release it due to the cover artwork. The notes go on to claim (again, fictitiously) that the album was released by Strange Sounds, but One-Tone issued a cease-and-desist order forcing them to "lose" the remaining copies. They also claim that this "reissue" has "updated" artwork, with George H.W. Bush replaced by George W. Bush.
