Ocean Odyssey
To stand at the edge of the sea, to sense the ebb and the
flow of the tides ... to watch the flight of shore birds that
have swept up and down the surf lines for untold thousands
of years ... is to have knowledge of things that are
as nearly eternal as any earthly life can be.
-Rachel Carson
Under the Sea-Wind

Let the rhythms of music and nature carry you away in this relaxing voyage above and below the surface of the majestic Pacific Ocean. This compelling ocean odyssey takes you from the coast of California to the depths of the Pacific off Alaska and Hawaii where you will hear the intriguing sounds of the sea recorded over a 10-year span by nature sound expert Bernie Krause.

Feel your worries drift away as soft, contemporary compositions by award-winning recording artist Rodney Franklin converge with the soothing sounds of surf and graceful melodies of the deep, including the songs of whales, fish and even delicate, tiny shrimp.
