Betsy Renals, Charlotte Renals and Sophie Legg were sisters, born into one of the best-known West Country travelling families, the Orchards. They were 78, 77 and 60 years old respectively in 1978 when these recordings were made and sad to tell Betsy and Charlotte have since died.

Recorded in 1978, this cassette was originally released in 1987 on the 'Peoples Stage' label (no. 12), with slightly different track listing.
