The Life of the Party" easily typifies the MIGHTY MITE OF THE PIANO, BILL BARNER. He was born in Fairmont, North Dakota, and because of his slight build he had to practice piano standing up to reach the keyboard. He has never overcome this habit and is still entertaining the customers with his comedy and great wit from an upright position at the piano.

BILL BARNER originally started his career by playing with territory bands in and around the northwestern part of the country. During this time, he found that he was breaking up the boys in the band with gags. One night he was putting on a solo performance without knowing that a club owner from Fargo, North Dakota was in the audience. The owner made BILL an offer and thus began his solo career.
