"Beyond My Heart (Hyper Genesis Remix)" is a redone version of the first song that Jacqueline wrote and produced since picking up music creation as a primary hobby and founding Carlsbeat.

After having spent a few years away from the eurobeat world, Jacqueline's deep love for the genre of music that shaped her so much growing up was finally rekindled when SCP began releasing their entire catalogue through the Eurobeat Kudos compilation series online. In particular, she was especially drawn to the tracks featured on volumes 9, 10, and 11 of the series, which represent SCP's earliest productions, many of which had previously appeared on Avex's Eurobeat Flash and early Euromach albums in the late 1990s. While the label was still extremely young and discovering its voice among the more established titles in the industry, it struck a special balance between all of the finest aspects of late '90s eurobeat. With the aggressive grit of A-Beat C, bouncy propulsion of Hi-NRG Attack, compositional sophistication of Time, and lyrical prowess of Delta, SCP produced some of the most flavorfully infectious eurobeat tunes from what is arguably the most significant era of the genre's history.

"Beyond My Heart" was inspired by all of these traits that set SCP's early productions apart from the rest. The original version of this song was released back in August as Carlsbeat's unofficial debut, but since then, Jacqueline has had more time to develop her production style, and so she decided to revisit the track, applying what she learned in the matter of a few months. Having tinkered some more with the project, she feels she has finally achieved her initial vision for the song - a eurobeat composition influenced by SCP's early productions, but with her own style attached to it.

The song itself tell the story of two very close people who, after a long period of time and change, are forced to separate from each other and embark on new chapters of their lives. I think a lot of us have had that personal friend, family member, or love interest who meant the world to us for such a long time and carved our identity, and this track addresses the bittersweet moment when we are forced to leave them behind for reasons beyond our control. Often, we feel anxious in this scenario, but as options become increasingly limited, we're finally forced to confront reality and make this tough decision, even though we know how much it breaks the heart of our friend or loved one, as well as our own.
