"This is not the new album but some almost forgotten recording being in the making for at least 15 years. Basically it can be seen as the missing link between "Wotansvolk" and "Wotan Redivivus" or the cursed EP as I call it.

The core of this release, i.e. tracks two to four were all written between 2004 and 2009 for a split album planned since 2003 that never happened.

The music was recorded in 2009/2010 at Hammerschlag studios, longtime friend Avenger contributed the Basslines and the Intro to this release.

Lyrics for tracks three and four were written by TyrR exclusively for BILSKIRNIR.

"Victoria Solis" is an ambient track that is based on the song "Siegsonne", recorded in 2015 after the initial session took place.

In september 2018 the missing vocaltracks were laid down and now, after one and a half decades "In solitary silence"' has been finally made available.
