The main body of this album was recorded at MCos, Manchester, February 2013 - May 2014. Other elements of this album were recorded earlier.

Track 2.5 ("Tonight I Am The Sun") features the poem "Tonight I am the Sun", which was written and performed by Robert Matejko aka Robby Baby Dark and recorded by Karl Hamilton. The poem is based on a profound sun based dream that Robby had about the sun. He listened to the music and the combination of the music and the dream lead to this composition.

Track 1.1 ("Whispers"), track 2.1 ("Old Piano") and track 2.2 ("Big High") feature elements from "Return", "Peace" and "I Am", all originally released on the album Twilight Sessions Volume 11.

Track 3.1 ("The Bells Of St. Augustine") features the sound of the bell of St. Augustine's church in Manchester, recorded by Bing Satellites circa 2002.

Tracks 3.3 to 3.5 ("Understanding I - IV") features elements originally from the song "Where I Stand", originally released on the EP Nothing For Miles.
