Track 2, "Just A Little Bit"The Discogs entry for Del Gordon (real name Delena Nelams Gordon) notes this, "US songwriter related to Rosco Gordon. Originally credited for writing "Just A Little Bit" (Conrad Pub. Co., 1959, later Tollie), often miscredited to Rosco Gordon. NOTE: the song may also be credited to Ralph Bass, John Thornton (3), Earl Washington, Sylvester Thompson (later Piney Brown), see Tiny Topsy - Just A Little Bit / Everybody Needs Some Loving.
Second Hand Songs notes this, "According to the author the song was inspired by a riff from Jimmy McCracklin, with whom he was touring one time. A demo version of "Just a Little Bit" was presented to producer Ralph Bass at King Records, who was not interested. Gordon then approached Calvin Carter at Vee-Jay Records, who agreed to record it. Meanwhile, Federal Records, a King Records subsidiary, released a version of "Just a Little Bit" by R&B singer Tiny Topsy. The songwriting credits on this release were 'given' to Ralph Bass and several others unknown to Gordon...."
