"This collection is culling of my finest songs from a now distant era of my life. While realizing that the one quality I can consistently deliver in my music is an inability to capture a consistent sound, I have also discovered that the work simply goes where it goes and so these songs have, in a sense, selected each other as company. I barely did anything, but I'm pleased with the results and I hope a few other people will feel the same."
