Quoted from "El Proclive Necesario: la historia de los Blops":

Paula Sanchez: "Under the influence of The Beatles' white album, we decided that the covers of the first album would be hand painted by us. The sleeves was made of white couché paper, 500 copies arrived and we each settled in with our pile of discs, to paint as we pleased. It was incredible, everyone painted: our parents, the friends of our families ...everyone. Some were super elaborate, others were spots and stripes ... each one did what he wanted".

Eduardo Gatti: "The first edition was 500 hand-painted covers. There are paintings by Tom Daskam, Carmen Silva, Benjamin Lira, Francisca Sutil, Nemesio Antunez, Titi Gana ...all different and handmade covers".

Julio Villalobos: "The idea appeared during a rehearsal at Juan Contreras' house, where people stopped on the street to hear the noise.
Eduardo Parra was visiting us as a representative of Los Jaivas, we were organizing some recitals and it occurred to us.
There was a common printed side of the sleeve and on the other side, acquaintances, friends, relatives ...each one made a different sleeve. So much green, colors, crayons...it was something so novel at that time.
I made about 6 covers, there were some nice ones that crossed each other in a space full of floating stones ...it was a space and then the space went out to another space, then another space further back and then the first one opened, so It was not know where it was floating. On another, some people walking between some hills half transparent, with landscapes, a fence with graphite pencil, another space with some clouds and a red ground that had a spiral from the clouds to the ground, all the air was visible. Another one was made by photos of the inside of my tape recorder, with a drawn flower glued with cold glue. Another one with a photo of Pedro Greene hidden in the middle of many colors.

I never saw all the covers together, only a few".
