English liner notes:
This is a production of Scandinavian "Old-time-dances" made of the most popular dance tunes of the "Folk-dances". These dances were and still are very popular in various places i Scandinavia. Included on side 1 is among others: Polka, waltz, schottish, rheinländer, Swedish mascerade, Hambo, Hopsa. Side 2 is a medley entitled "Family dance", which is danced the following way: The ladies form an inner circle, hand in hand, facing the men who form an outer circle, also hand in hand. When the music starts everybody moves to the right, and when the music stops, the man dances with the girl facing him. When this particular dance is finished, the two circles are formed again, starting a new dance.
