Tracks 1-1, 1-11 & 2-12 are from the self-titled 12-inch EP 'Bored!', which was released by Grown Up Wrong! in October 1988 (WRONG 8). Recorded at Sound Barrier with producer John Hresc.
Tracks 1-2, 1-13 & 2-5 are from 'Negative Waves', which was released on LP by Dog Meat during October 1989 (DOG 006). Recorded at Recordio Studios with producer Jon Brunner.
Tracks 1-3, 1-16, 1-17, 2-1, 2-7 & 2-16 are from the 'Take It Out On You' mini-album, which was released by Dog Meat in May 1990 (DOG 012). Recorded at Recordio Studios with producer Jon Brunner.
Track 2-16 is a cover of the Rocket From The Tombs / Pere Ubu song 'Final Solution'.
Tracks 1-4, 1-5 & 1-9 are from 'Feed The Dog', which was released by Survival on December 9th 1991 (RAT 520). Recorded at Phantom Tollbooth with a guy called Bo turning the knobs.
Track 1-6 is from the compilation LP 'From Babylon To Brunswick', which was released by Nomad Records in November 1991 (NDR002).
Tracks 1-7 & 2-2 are from 'Junk', which was released by Survival on December 14th 1992 (SUR 524 CD). Recorded in Melbourne at Hothouse studio with Kent Steedman from The Celibate Rifles producing.
Track 1-8 was first issued on the various artists CD 'Ox-Compilation #19 - Heavenly Tunes', which came free with the January 1995 issue of the Ox-Fanzine #19 (OXCD 04). 'Shame' was also issued on the compilation CD 'Peoples Republic Of Rock 'N' Roll', which was released by Subway Records in 1996 (20 2024 WM 318). Recorded with producer Lindsay Gravina at his Birdland Studio.
Track 1-9 is a cover of the Wipers song 'Over the Edge'. From the 'People Say' 7-inch single, which was released by Dog Meat on November 4th 1991 (DOG 029).
Track 1-12 is previously unreleased. Recorded at Birdland and produced by by Lindsay Gravina during 1994 (the last recording session for Bored!).
Track 1-14 is a cover of the Black Sabbath song 'Iron Man', which is sung by Simon 'Sly' Faulkner from the Splatterheads. This cover version is from the split 'Sabbath Bloody Tribute' 7-inch single, with the band Purple Overdose, which was released by Brain Salad Surgery in 1993 (BSS 02).
Track 1-15 is from the 'Satisfaction' 7-inch single, which was released by Dog Meat on December 11th 1989 (DOG 004).
Tracks 2-3, 2-9 & 2-13 are from 'Scuzz', which was released by Shagpile on March 14th 1993 (SHAGCD 2011).
Track 2-3 is a cover of the Black Flag song 'Thirsty And Miserable'.
Track 2-9 is a cover of The Damned song 'Born to Kill' — also issued on the 1993 'The Tote Singles Club No:1' split 7-inch with the Splatterheads (Ray001).
Track 2-13 is a cover of the New York Dolls song 'Bad Girl' — Rory McCallum from The Dirty Lovers helped out with some guitar on this.
Track 2-4 is from the various artists compilation 'Found In The Subway (A Subway Records Sampler.)', which was released in Australia by Shagpile on March 13th 1995 (SHAGCD2027). Recorded at Birdland and produced by by Lindsay Gravina during 1994 (the last recording session for Bored!).
Track 2-6 is from the various artists 'Endangered Species' 6x 7-inch vinyl box set, which was released by Glitterhouse Records in 1990 (GR 0100).
Track 2-8 is from the split 7-inch single 'Electrophonic Tonic / Jason' with The White Elephants, which was released by Destroyer Records in 1990 (D-001). This cover of the Sonic's Rendezvous Band song 'Electrophonic Tonic' was also issued on the 1990 Munster Records various artists compilation LP 'The Munster Dance Hall Favorites Vol. III' (MR 003).
Track 2-10 is from Bored!'s 'My Pal' 7-inch single, which was released by Munster Records in 1991 (70018 / 7017). 'Say Goodbye' is an outtake from the recording sessions for 'Negative Waves'.
Track 2-11 is a version of 'Descender' from the various artists compilation 'Check This Action', which was released by Destroyer Records in 1992 (DESTROYER 003). Recorded around '91 at Phantom Tollbooth.
Track 2-14 is from the tribute album 'The Velvet Down Underground', which was recorded at Birdland Studios in Prahran, VIC, Australia by Lindsay Gravina and released by Birdland/Shock records in 1992 (BIRDCD 001). 'Waiting for the Man' is a cover of the The Velvet Underground song, and this version features Bohdan Kubiakowski ('Bohdan X') on vocals.
Track 2-15 is a previously unreleased live recording from early 1988, which was recorded on a Sunday at The Builders Arms Hotel in Fitzroy, VIC, Australia.
