"My goal is to make music that represents a contemplative state of mind. I'm trying to convey how strange it is to be a brain inside a container.

As I understand it, the cover art was created in a similar way. My girlfriend commissioned this piece for me as a gift. She asked the artist (Zach Shaw, @itszachshaw) to paint whatever came to mind when he heard the words "Brain Container" -- so I thought it was a fitting album cover. The fact that the painting happens to resemble a landscape is a serendipitous coincidence."
