Manufactured by H.V. Wadell in Burbank California. This White Label Test Pressing with someone's writing on it (yes, it's my name and number) was supplied to me for approval prior to authorizing the first pressing of the LP. This was the only test pressing we had made because they were very expensive, and we approved it without changes so there was no need for another.
We had a listening session with some of the band members and my label partner. Everyone agreed the mastering, banding and sound quality was acceptable so we authorized the first pressing of the LP in 1984.
The number etched into the dead wax on side two is wrong, just like all the first pressings of the stock LP. It reads " FRS-801" and should be "FSR-801" for First Strike Records. I owned Record Exchange in Walnut Creek, California and this was our label.
