This is a repress. Based on information obtained from the son of the late conductor Ben van den Boom (Ben's son is the white boy on the front cover), sales of the first pressing went better than expected and after the first batch sold out, a second run was pressed. The represses differ slightly from the first pressing: the letter font used for the front cover is not the same, a detail that becomes clear when scrutinized carefully. The labels differ, too: if one compares the labels one by one, it's clear the the letter font used for the label name "SPECIAL" is printed slightly higher on the label and in bold. The represses also contain a translation of the lyrics: a simple page, printed on both sides, with the conductor's personal stamp on it [see images]. The insert is not identical to the one included with Brothers - Songs Of Black Africa: the Dutch translations differ considerably in wording, as is the case with the way the text is outlined and it does not carry the stamp from Ben van den Boom.
