Due to a misunderstanding of how to properly read the kanji of Hisashi Imai's name, the writer of the liner notes accidentally credited him as Kotobuki Imai, which is another, more common way to pronounce the kanji that comprise Hisashi's name.
Likewise, Yagami Toll was miscredited as Yamagami Tohru due to a similar katakana misreading.

The liner notes of the original release credit Imai with the composition of lyrics and music for both songs, though in the 1987 band memoir "Buck-Tick", Imai states that Atsushi Sakurai is the actual composer of the music for "Plastic Syndrome Type-2".

Not mentioned on the release itself, but both tracks were recorded at Yamaha Hiyoshi Center Studio on May 18th, 1986 during the same recording session as a few tracks on the "Hurry Up Mode" album. The album and single versions of "Plastic Syndrome Type-2" are slightly different although the arrangement is the same.
