Cat 500 is the secret futurist character of Los Angeles /San Fernando Valley producer & performance artist Cary Allison whose ‘day job’ is presently is a watchmaker, previously fabricator of composites, neon, and integrated systems. Cat 500 music has been championed by seasoned L.A. music scenesters Leaving Records, dublab, Mndsgn, and surrounding local community years. The Comp compiles songs from formative years, and finally firmly presents Cat 500 in her unique dance of processed soul vocal, bassy beat sequencing, and vintage synthesizer abstraction.
