First making an appearance on Doom Mix Vol. III, CDX returns to Doom Trip with a full length release. On Lion Cuts, Thornton has assembled a collection of tracks that find him focused and energetic. There is an undeniable aura of joy around the album, though moments of chaos and aggression exist as well. While some artists may maintain multiple aliases that end up feeling redundant, Thornton's CDX is clearly set apart from the frenetic and much more experimental work he's produced as Tiger Village, with releases on Hausu Mountain and Orange Milk.Recorded live with no overdubs, edited and mixed December 2018 through June 2019 near Cleveland Ohio by Tim Thornton.
