"You may have noticed that Cancer Rising has issued this self-titled EP in a Limited Edition format - in all recycled jewel cases; you yourself might have asked yourself, "Now Why In The F@#! Would They Have Done That?" Here's a couple good reasons:

#1. We're broke. (No getting away from that.)

#2. We thought it was an ingenious way to recycle a bunch of shit that was just sitting around taking up space. If you're like us, you've got more jewel cases laying around than square feet! Also, not to get too green on ya here (we are from Seattle for chrissakes) - but we felt it was an easy way to be ecologically responsible without doing that stupid noodley-dance.

#3. All of these CD cases represent an artist who has influenced us. Nothing is more profound to us than the transformative power of music. From Marvin Gaye to Slayer to Ice Cube, each and every one of these albums helped shape the CR sound."
