Album Info

Release Date: 1998

Label: Sony Computer Entertainment America

Entry for the redbook audio of the PS1 mixed mode disc for X-Men: Children Of The Atom.

Track names are taken from the official soundtrack release, except tracks 1, 19 and 6. Track 6 was omitted from the from the soundtrack release (along with the credits theme) because they include voice clips that were licensed from Marvel and this would have resulted in additional licensing fees for Capcom. The only way to access the credits theme in a CD readable format is the redbook audio on the Sega Saturn version of the game.

The audio on this disc is notable because many tracks are longer than they are on the official soundtrack (Player Select) while the character stage themes range from being longer to being shorter. Most of these themes tend to fade before completing the double loop, but some are longer than they are on the soundtrack. All the ending themes are on the disc but are in a different format unreadable by a regular CD player.

Tracks 1 and 19 are computer data.

Note that there is no Japanese PS1 rendition of Children Of The Atom. It was only release in the NTSC and PAL territories.

The home versions on the Saturn and PS1 use the same audio as the arcade original.
