DISC 1:
Tracks 1-20 are examples of speech work, rhythm, pentatonic melody in different keys, use of percussion instruments in various ways, and the building of simple forms. Tracks 21-39 enlarge the melodic range to the 7 notes of the major key. Drone bass and ostinato accompaniments give way to the use of alternating tonic and supertonic triads and tonic and submediant triads.

DISC 2:
Tracks 1-16 use dominant and subdominant triads in the major key and a number are in the minor pentatonic scale. Tracks 17-35 explore aeolian,dorian and phrygian modes; drone bass, I & VII chords and I & III chords.

DISC 3:
Tracks 1-13 use dominant (major and minor) and subdominant triads in the minor key. Tracks 14-26 use mostly modal melodies (many are Welsh, Irish or Scottish).
