The earlier albums Live! (Carlos Santana & Buddy Miles, 1972) and Love Devotion Surrender (Carlos Santana & Mahavishnu John McLaughlin, 1973) are combined on two LPs in this European Release from 1976.

This version is pretty similar to Carlos Santana, Buddy Miles, John McLaughlin - Live! / Love Devotion Surrender and shares the same label and matrices.
The cover has two notable differences:
- the backcover has the circled "Y x 1" in the upper right corner but misses the circled "I" below.
- the backcover has no labelcode in the lower right corner. In fact the whole release comes without a labelcode.

Some copies come with special marketing stickers (see the additional cover picture for details). Note that the two copies at hand for this submission (one stickered, one unstickered) do not differ from each other in any way but the sticker.
