There in the islands rich with the language of lyric sound. There where one's thought comes out as a sprout of musical image winged to reach everyone of the islands caught in the harmony of becoming one song under the blue scape of the singing Southern skies.
Islands of singing in the blending of sea and sun there in much too lyric Sur. South of the country, into the sway of gracile Visayan way.

Out there must be some voices rich in the sorrows and joys that are the very meanings and moods of a good song. And of a bright singing.
And there is. One voice that knows his own way of singing and in his own write speaks of his beginnings:
"I started singing at the age of 9 years old and used to sing on the soundtrack of Visayan films for Mutya Productions. Such songs as "Salingsing Sa Kasakit", "Rosita", "Sangang Nangabale". Later I became the defending champion in the PMC Amateur Hour show after which I gained recognition by being asked to participate in stage shows on the road with Visayan movie personalities as Gloria Sevilla, Mat Ranillo, Rebecca Torres, Kadyo Roma. Our stage shows made a tour of the Visayas Mindanao zone."

And the way to songs and singing renown has come to be paved for this Visayan singer.
"I was 18 when I was discovered by a bandleader who contracted me to sing at known clubs of Cebu like Stardust Night Club, Insular Cafe Cocktail Lounge, Yarrow Beach Resort Night Club, and Magellan Hotel."

Onward to showering the songful Visayan isles with his singing style came to be the continuing fame streak of the singer. Taking with his songs such tourist places as Sirloin'N'Saddle of Cagayan de Oro City. Then Marrakesh Club. On to Davao's Insular Hotel, Later to come and captivate Gingoog City. Zamboanga City, Butuan City, Ozamiz, and the entire of the Southern singing islands.

Manila was the next best point to go for this singer. This songman who was a contemporary of Jun Polistico and Carmelita Alburo. Until Carmelita Alburo gave word to the Villar Recording Group that here was another Visayan singer of promising potential. One who must be kept on record for everyone with that nostalgic taste for the best in Filipino sound to listen to. Won't you please welcome now the singer CARLOS SATO into your ears. And welcome in some of the best Visayan sounds now around.
