"I know What A Lion Is" is a CD-R sold by the band at their concerts during the summer and fall of 2008. The three songs were recorded along with the rest of the "Summer Fences" album, but these versions were released unmastered. At the time, the band used it as a demo, just to have something to give away to fans at their shows. Once the band was signed by Count Your Lucky Stars and "Summer Fences" was scheduled for release, this entire "demo" was made available for free download on the band's Myspace page in November 2008.
