Inspired​ ​by​ ​early​ ​70s​ ​Miles​ ​Davis,​ ​Brian​ ​Eno’s​ ​ideas​ on 'composer as gardener' and cerebral palsy YouTube drummer 'Spack in the Box' whose YouTube channel the upcoming EP is named after.

Initial drum tracks were recorded with ​​​'Spack​ ​in​ ​the​ ​Box' live in the studio, on​ ​top​ ​of​ ​which​ ​a​ ​series​ ​of​ ​players​ ​were​ ​invited​ ​to improvise. These recordings were then used as raw material for the project. ​
