CHAKRA was formed mainly by guitarist and composer Bun Itakura.
Their first album "CHAKRA" was released in July 1980.
This album is a collection of songs recorded since 1978, when vocalist Mishio Ogawa joined the band and started as CHAKRA,
Just before the recording of the 1st album.
The album is a collection of rare and treasured studio recordings made at three different studios.
Except for the second song, "Ame(rain)", all of the songs are released for the first time,
and many of the songs are previously unreleased as studio recordings.
The song "Akogare (longing)" is included as a single song on the album "CHAKRA",
but it was originally included in the "Tokyo Suite" suite.
The all lylics of the original version "Tokyo Suite”are by Bun Itakura. On this album you can listen to the original "Tokyo Suite"
"Shima-no-Musume(Island Girl)" is also the original version of the song with lyrics by Bun Itakura.
The debut song "Fuku no Tane(Seeds of Fortune)" also has slightly different lyrics.

7 to 10: Recorded at 信濃町ソニースタジオ (Shinanomachi Sony Studio), October 30, 1979
11: Recorded at 那須 保養所スタジオ, February 4 to 8, 1980.
