The stereophonic pressing (CRI 190 SD) of New England Holidays was processed from original stereo tape masters in the instances of Washington's Birthday and The Fourth of July, while the monophonic tape masters of Decoration Day and Thanksgiving were electronically re-channelled with the aim of providing an illusion of acoustic depth and breadth comparable to that obtained through true stereophony.
