Liner notes: "The Space Between was originally released in 1980 as a ninety minute cassette by Industrial Records. It has been digitally re-mastered and edited specifically for this CD version by Chris Carter at Studio 47, May 1991. The tracks were recorded between 1977 & 1980 at the studios of Industrial records and Throbbing Gristle. Some were recorded onto cassette format and as such retain some of the qualities inherent in that medium."
