After performing and recording popular music for six years it was refreshing to undertake a project such as this. Originally we were commissioned to record a "meditation" album working primarily within rigid schematic frameworks of texture, pitch and time. As the pieces developed, however, they acquired a freedom, depth and musicality that we had never anticipated. We are now delighted to share with you the effervescence of "Prism", the mysterious oriental quality of "Mosaic" and the ethereal subtlety of "Passage". This music will also provide a healthy atmosphere for the stressful, the weary and those who have trouble sleeping at night.
