This record lives in cycles of misguided self-help: being sold the cure from the same place you bought the disease. Conceived specifically for vinyl, the drastic contrasts in style, genre, and energy level between each track is jarring, even disorienting: mimicking the unpredictable disruption of mood swings in real life.

And yet, the two sides of the record progress narratively in parallel: like mirror images, or flip sides of the same coin. One is irrational, controlling, white-knuckled, driven by fear; the other is centered, laughing, peaceful, driven by acceptance and wonder.
