CHROME
HALF MACHINE LIP MOVES
"When Chrome first came onto the SF punk scene in the late seventies, they were called "acid punk", due to their penchant for both, but the sci-fi obsessed Creed and Edge claimed to channel their music directly from the beyond, and when 1979's groundbreaking Half Machine Lip Moves was released - an angular and metallic sounding album interspersed with electric violin - it certainly sounded that way. The three bonus tracks, "Anti-Fade", "I Left My Heart In San Francisco" and "Meet You In The Subway", originally appeared on the rare 1979 "Subterranean Modern" compilation."
