It was originally released in 1998 by Earworm Records in a numbered edition of 500 copies. However, at the time the disc was made, 600 copies were pressed. Since Earworm had agreed to sell 500, the 100 additional discs were not included in the edition and were never packaged for sale. The original Earworm release is now hard to find. The extra 100 copies of worm20, A Map of Maybes, are now made available in new packaging exclusively through the Chuzzlewit website."
