I've been thinking about doing a "best of" compilation for a while now, but struggled to figure out how to approach it. I wanted it to be interesting and special. I wanted it to be something different, yet familiar. It's frustrating when an artist releases a compilation that's a bunch of album versions (or singles) and then a new song or two. No one likes to pay extra for an album for a couple new songs. So I decided to remake each track from scratch. Not only that, some of these songs are bonus or hidden tracks. While it may not be a "best of," I feel it's a fitting compilation to celebrate croci-xxv and I'm quite happy with it.
