Album Info

Release Date: 1971

Label: Unison

Cliff Bingham is a naturally entertaining young man. He just gives out happy enthusiasm and uses the amazing versatility of the Thomas Electronic Organ to the full in conveying this feeling to audiences all around Australia.
From his early teens Cliff has spent a lot of his time with organs. He was the solo organist at the 1964 Festival of School Instrumental Music which was held at the Sydney Town Hall and more recently has been heard at popular concerts at the consoles of two of the best known pipe organs in Sydney - the Capital Theatre and the Marrickville Town Hall.
In this album which features the Thomas Celebrity Model 821S and the Thomas Trianon Model 606, Cliff has succeeded in demonstrating the wide range of delightful registrations listed in the specification.
The Thomas "Playmate" Automatic Rhythm Unit is standard equipment on both instruments, whilst the Trianon which is used for the titles marked with an asterisk, has such innovations as the Vibraphone in "Yesterday".
