Released to promote the Cliff Richard - 40 Years Of Hits In Holland compilation album, including Cliff Richard's Dutch top 10 hits from 1959 to 1987. This reissue of 'Living Doll' became a very minor hit in the Mega Top 100 in April 1998, and marked the third time Cliff Richard charted in The Netherlands with 'Living Doll'.

This is the only CD single to include the 1986 Comic Relief charity remake of 'Living Doll', and Cliff Richard - 40 Years Of Hits In Holland marked the first album appearance of this version. Additionally, this single contains the first and only CD release of the 1988 live version of 'Living Doll' from the Cliff Richard - Live & Guaranteed 1988! home video release.
