'River' was written, performed and recorded by Sey in the Westjfords region in northwestern Iceland in February 2020, amidst early reports of COVID-19 cases worldwide and a backdrop of tension and corrosive rhetoric caused by the government and media companies.

Sey created 'River' as a way to reflect, remedy inner tension and in response to the environment he found himself in, in this area of Earth.

'River ⟳' is tracks 1-5 compiled as one.
